XEROmotion successfully deployed and delivered training for the HALO v22 Optical Motion Capture system at Chosun University, Department of IT Convergence.

This project focused on establishing an optical motion capture–based research environment to support and enhance quadruped robot autonomous navigation research.

Project Overview

Optical Motion Capture for Quadruped Robot Autonomous Navigation

The Department of IT Convergence at Chosun University required a high-precision optical motion capture environment to accurately measure robot motion, validate autonomous navigation algorithms, and analyze driving stability.

To meet these requirements, XEROmotion designed and implemented an optical motion capture system tailored to the laboratory layout and research objectives, enabling reliable real-time motion data acquisition for robotic experiments.

Optical Motion Capture System Robotics Deployment

XEROmotion deployed HALO v22 optical motion capture cameras, strategically positioned to cover the quadruped robot driving area and ensure stable tracking performance.

The resulting optical motion capture environment enables:

  • Precise position tracking of quadruped robots

  • Accurate motion trajectory measurement

  • Real-time motion capture data collection for research analysis

On-site quadruped robot driving tests were conducted to validate system calibration and tracking reliability under real experimental conditions.
